2011 Engineering Graduate Symposium Award Winners
Congratulations to Mohammad Fallahi-Sichani for being selected as one of the three winners of the 2011 Richard and Eleanor Towner Prize for Outstanding PhD Research in the College of Engineering. This competition is college wide, and each department gets to nominate one student. Mohammad is in Professor Jennifer Linderman's group and his research is focused on applying a combination of experimental and computational approaches to understand disease mechanisms and to suggest efficient strategies for control and therapy of tuberculosis.
Congratulations also go to Nick Cilfone, who took 2nd place in the poster session on "Engineering in Biological Systems." Nick is also from the Linderman research group.
