Research Interests
My research focuses on fundamental aspects of electrochemical energy systems including fuel cells, supercapacitors and redox flow batteries. Ongoing projects include (I) new system chemistries for non-aqueous redox flow batteries; (II) investigation of transition-metal carbide materials as catalyst supports for fuel-cell relevant reactions; (III) electrochemical supercapacitors based on transition-metal nitride materials.
