Brian's responsibilities include oversight of the cleanroom and regular laboratories, operation, training, and maintenance of fabrication equipment, and the design and fabrication of silicon and glass devices with the graduate students and staff as we work to develop a microfabricated integrated DNA analysis chip. He also handles hiring and management of the research staff, both the full-time Research Engineers and the undergraduate part-time emplyees, under the guidance of Prof. Burns.

Brian received BSE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1992.
