Wen named Dow Corning Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering

Fei Wen has been named the Dow Corning Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering.

Fei Wen has been named the Dow Corning Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering. She came to the University of Michigan in 2012 after doing postdoctoral research with Mark M. Davis at Stanford University. She received her PhD from the University of Illinois in 2010 and her BS degree from Tsinghua University in China in 2003, both in chemical engineering. Wen’s research focuses on developing genetic and protein engineering strategies to address challenges in energy and human health, including waste-to-biofuel conversion, cancer immunotherapy, infectious disease vaccination, and immune phenotyping.
