Solids Processing and Particle Technology.  Modern chemical plants consist of multiple solids processing unit operations that often operate sub-optimally or not at all.   As part of an industrial research group, I have the opportunity to explore areas which are applicable to broad range of solids processing technologies.   Recent work has focused on dense phase pneumatic conveying, flowability of powder mixtures and thermal conductivity of bulk solid systems (wet and dry).
