ChE in top 10 in new U.S. News & World Report graduate program rankings

Consistently ranked among the nation’s best chemical engineering departments, U-M has risen to 10 in the latest U.S. News & World Report’s annual graduate program rankings.

Consistently ranked among the nation’s best chemical engineering departments, U-M has risen to 10 in the latest U.S. News & World Report’s annual graduate program rankings.

U-M Chemical Engineering is tied for 10—up from 11 in 2021—in the U.S. News’s 2022 chemical engineering graduate program rankings. Of Michigan Engineering’s 11 specialties to receive new rankings this year, chemical engineering is one of two to rise.

With these latest rankings, both U-M Chemical Engineering’s graduate and undergraduate programs are now recognized as among the top 10 across the nation. The U-M Chemical Engineering undergraduate program is ranked 4 in the latest undergraduate program rankings.

Michigan Engineering offers students access to top 10 programs in every engineering discipline that is ranked by the US News & World Report.
