Admissions Timeline

Applications are evaluated by the chemical engineering graduate admissions committee on an ongoing basis. Applications received after the deadline will be accepted and evaluated, but the chances for admission/financial aid decline. We typically do not admit for the Winter term (January start date).

Fall Term Admissions

December 1: PhD applications due
January 15: MS applications due

December–January: PhD applications assembled and evaluated
January–March: PhD admission/financial aid offers mailed
February–March: Masters admission offers mailed
April 15: Due date for outstanding admission offers and decisions

Winter Term Admissions

The application deadline to be considered for admission/financial aid is October 1 for Winter term.

Note: An application will be accepted and evaluated after the deadline but your chances of receiving an admission offer decrease.
