Ways to Engage

On this page you will find different ways to engage with the DEI Committee. If the options shared below do not address what you are looking for, you can always email [email protected] to reach the leads (DEI coordinator and faculty chair) of the committee.

Share your thoughts

As we build more inclusive and supportive environments, we welcome your thoughts. Our hope is that we build sustainable diversity, equity, and inclusion for each member of your community, so please share your thoughts with us. You may directly contact someone from the DEI Steering Committee or share your thoughts via the form below. Any faculty, staff, or student is welcome to use this form.

Please remember that some faculty and staff members are legally required to report misconduct when they are made aware of a misconduct incident.

DEI Office Hours

What are DEl Office Hours? 20-minute sessions, held on the last Tuesday of the month from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.

An opportunity for anyone in ChE to connect with the DEl Coordinator and discuss anything related to DEl. All ChE students, postdocs, staff, and faculty are welcome to:

  • Make introductions – connect directly with Isabel, ChE’s DEl Coordinator.
  • Learn about what’s down the DEl pipeline
  • Learn how to get involved in DEl in the department and elsewhere.

If you’re not available during DEl Office Hours, please email Isabel Enad to schedule some time to chat!

Requesting DEI Committee Support

If you are a student or student organization that would like to discuss a potential collaboration with the DEI committee, please complete this form: Request for DEI Committee Support. Support may include being a thought partner during program planning or staffing an event. We are also able to provide limited financial support for programs if appropriate. Once your form is received, Isabel will reach out to discuss next steps.
